Butyrub is a one-component butyl mastic sealant, primarily used for sealing joints with limited movement. It's known for its ability to form an elastic and watertight skin without fully curing, making it suitable for a variety of applications.

Key Features:
Non-setting: It doesn't completely cure, allowing it to be flexible and repairable
One-component: requires no mixing and is easy to apply directly from a cartridge
Elastic and watertight: It creates a tight seal that can resist water and movement
UV-resistant and weatherproof: can withstand exposure to sunlight and various weather conditions
Paintable: It can be painted after 24 hours of application

Common Applications:
Glazing: used for mounting single-pane glass in wooden, concrete, rubber and steel frames
Sealing joints: Butyrub is used for sealing joints in masonry, door and window frames, windowsills, and other construction elements. 

Roof and gutter repairs:
It's suitable for sealing joints and openings in roof and gutter constructions. 
 
Container and coachwork construction:
It can be used to seal joints in car bodies, containers, and caravans.
